Lakefront Maternity Session

Hello February!!!

The fact that I’m working on this second blog post that is not mini-session related, is already a huge win for me guys haha. January was, in general, a good month for us. The weather was mild so I took the kids out almost every day. Being outside HELPED so much with our mental health and wellbeing. The kids are happier, they bond better and fight less too. We did have some really, like REALLY rough days where things were out of whack and I ended up crying. For that, meditation and affirmation have been very helpful, but I’ll share more about that side of the journey in the future.

Today, let’s talk about Paletta Mansion. It’s a lakefront property on the south of Burlington. I’ve been taking my kids here for their nature walk at least twice a week. I have so much good things to say about this place. It’s BEAUTIFUL all year round. It’s by the lake with a gorgeous view. But most importantly, it’s very kids friendly that it’s on the top of my location list. Over years, I’ve taken so many family sessions at this location and we never failed to create stunning images. Last summer, I had the honour of photographing this beautiful mama and her family here. Denise reached out to me with the most exciting news - she was expecting with her third baby and asked if I could photograph her maternity and newborn photos. Well, OF COURSE! She picked Paletta Mansion for her maternity session and I said your gallery will be stunning mama. It WAS. This is definitely one of my most favourite sessions taken at this location.
