FAQ
I’d love to book a newborn session. Do you bring props (i.e. buckets, blankets, etc.) to the session?
With in-home lifestyle sessions, we focus on capturing the genuine connection and intimate moments shared among parents, siblings, and the newborn. I typically refrain from using traditional props such as buckets or blankets, however, I will bring along a seagrass changing basket or a Moses basket for the baby.
Throughout the session, I provide gentle prompts to guide the family, ensuring that you feel comfortable and supported. Rest assured, you won't be left to pose on your own. However, I do not typically pose sleeping babies in swaddling wraps or props. My goal is to capture authentic moments as they naturally unfold. If you’re interested in a studio newborn session, I have a few talented friends who specialize in that style and would be very happy to recommend them.
When is the best time to book an in-home session?
It truly depends on your comfort and readiness. As a mother myself, I completely understand the whirlwind that comes with bringing a new baby home. Unlike in-studio sessions where earlier days are often preferred, our in-home sessions offer a more relaxed atmosphere. While it's nice if the baby is asleep at some point during the session, it's not a requirement. Take all the time you need to settle in, bond with your baby, and prioritize your well-being. We can schedule the session whenever you feel ready to do so. I've had the pleasure of photographing newborns anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months old, and each session has been sweet and beautiful in its own way. Feel free to send me an email, and I'd be happy to share a sample gallery with you,

Do you provide RAW/unedited images?
Unfortunately, NO. I do not provide raw or unedited images under any circumstances.
What is the best time of the day to do my session?
During April and October, I’d like to schedule my sessions in the morning, between 9-11am or in the afternoon, between 5:30-7:30pm. That being said, a session mid-afternoon is also possible if the location has lots of open shade.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! Mini sessions are offered throughout the year at different locations. To get the first dip on when we release one, join our mailing list below.
What should I or my family wear to the session?
Once you’re booked in, I will send you a styling guide to help you plan outfits and prepare for your session.
Do you have a client wardrobe?
Yes, we do. We have a small collection of dresses and outfits for mamas and their little ones. After you book, I will send you the wardrobe lookbook. You’re welcome to borrow any piece(s) you like for the session.
