A Wildflower Mini Session at City View Park, Burlington

Last month, we spent an evening at City View Park with one of my long-time clients as part of my wildflower mini sessions in August. It was right in the middle of Queen Anne's lace season, and the field was completely full of them. The whole session was just so much fun. The kids ran through the wildflowers, played parachute, and threw colorful paper airplanes around. We also played some ring-around-the-rosy and did an airplane fly with dad, which turned into some of my favorite shots of the day. While I pulled mom and dad aside for a few photos together, the kids quietly gathered up all the paper airplanes into one pile and tossed them up in the air right as I turned back around — I got it just in time. Little C also picked a flower and put it in her hair, which is super cute. The light that evening was gorgeous too. Honestly, it was a family session straight out of a storybook.
