Session Information

During April to October, I like to schedule my sessions between 9-11am and 5:30-7:30pm. In October, the sessions may be scheduled earlier between 3-6pm depending on sunset time. If your child has nap times to consider, don't worry—we can adjust the schedule accordingly, although please note that location options may be limited.

In-home newborn sessions will also be booked with prime natural sunlight hours in mind. I will be able to assess your home and find the best location within it to use for the best lighting options. Please note that I NO LONGER do studio newborn sessions. I also do not use props (i.e. buckets, blankets, etc.) in newborn shoots. In-home sessions focus on the connection and intimacy among parents, siblings, and newborns. I will take newborn portraits in the most natural way, without too much posing.

Your final gallery will come in the form of digital images that are fully edited and high resolution with print release. I LOVE the look of film and work hard to achieve it. Therefore, you will find your images to have that soft contrast, warm, pinkish tones, and to be a bit grainy. Please check out my portfolio to ensure that this is the look you want for your images. I do not release unedited images under any circumstances.

Secure your booking

To secure your session, I will need BOTH of the following:

  • A signed contract

  • A non-refundable retainer fee

We will send you a contract/registration form that you can complete and sign online. The retainer payment can be made via email transfer to lucy@lucytran.com.

Once you are booked in, I will send over a styling guide and client wardrobe lookbook to help you prepare for your session. All photographs will be delivered digitally through an online gallery.

We service in Halton regions (including Oakville, Burlington, Milton, and Georgetown), Hamilton, and some parts of Mississauga. A traveling fee will be applied for areas that are outside of these areas and which are not listed above.
